ECU was my first game this season, and I noticed for the first time the HOT was miked up.  Sound guy had a challenge for sure.  We sat in northwest 200 level & my dad and I commented on how sometimes it filled in perfect but sometimes the delay was WAY off.

Sound coverage based on where they are located.  I believe they're hard to hear in the SE corner of the stadium.

They were having serious audio/visual problems at the Stadium yesterday.  Nothing was in sync and it sounded weird, so that's on the tech.

 

That being said, the band is quieter than most.  I was at the other end of the student section from them and its hard to make out what they play.  They need it.

They did it at the UConn game as well.  They def need it esp if you want fans on the opposite side of the stadium to hear or to be able to identify what is being played.   There was some Tech issues with the speakers and Jumbo in general.  (Hopefully resolved soon or non issue when the New Jumbo is installed if not before than).

 

 

There are other changes this year as well at the stadium, Ticket Takers wearing Green as well, Nice touch by Harlan.

I really liked the opening run on to the field too. I hope they keep that

There were more than a handful of times where they left the mic on during plays when the band was no longer playing. Need to work on that.
