I'm not saying putting 5 WR on the field would've meant a comeback with 6 minutes left or whatever it was, and down 17, But WHY in the world do we not have more than 1 WR on the field?! Did anyone else notice this?

1st and 2nd down of that series we had 1 WR and 3rd down they finally brought in 3. Maybe I'm just weird about this stuff, but it absolutely drives me nuts to see stuff like that. It makes no sense!!!

if the answer is well they threw in the towel due to the score and time left, then I have an issue with that too.

What the hell does that even matter? YOU'RE DOWN 17 POINTS. Should we not attempt to pass the rest of the year because "only 1 WR can catch"? Gimme a break.

No,

You put in the players that can catch the ball

We had 2 WRs and 2 TEs in there.  That's the Taggart offense - I bet the only 5 WR play in the playbook is a hail mary.

We need to take a few more chances when we're 34 point underdogs. Other than that, we played a better game than I expected.

So next time we're down by double digits late in the game you're cool with lining up 3 tight ends and Alex Mut at WR? Haha are you kidding me?!

Are you sure? I'm 99.9% positive we had 1 WR, and 99.9% positive it was Alex Mut on 1st and 2nd down. If there was a 2nd WR he must've been lined up funky and not in a normal WR spot on the line.

Screw 5 WR, I was just using that as an example above. How about 3 WR and a Tight end? How about 4 WR?

Are you suggesting we misused the 39 seconds we had the ball in the 4th quarter?

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
