Davis is going to need to be back. Right now Rodney Adams is a OK #1, but his hands are a problem. He will be a challenge against a #2 corner. WIU and LSU both didn't have trouble completing passes, the difference is that WIU didn't have the speed to punish them. USF might. 

 

 

 

I'm not sure I fully agree on Adams.  Yeah, that pass tonight that bounced off of him and was returned for a pick 6 was egregious, but I think that may have been weather-related, and I can't remember him having issues with catching passes before that.  Could be wrong, though.

 

Deonte Welch?  That guy seems to have bricks tied to his palms.

 

 

He missed a couple of catchable balls in the second half from what I recall. 

 

I wonder if all the drops are why the coaches didn't call a pass play in that fourth quarter FG drive. 

 

Watching the game, sometimes I wonder if Taggart has any kind of killer instinct. There have certainly been opportunities to bury teams and we've not done it.

100% agree. We needed that win so badly. I think it saves our season (might be extreme), but... 

 

After what happened last week, if we lost today the whole season would've probably spiraled out of control.

 

Might get ugly next week, but we had 2 wins all of last season, and through 4 games we've already matched that. I still think we're a 4-8 team, but in this lowly conference anything is possible.

Congrats guys.  Glad to see you bounce back from last week.

 

It would have been much bigger lead obviously if that pick six hadn't happened, not White's fault.   I think you have a lot to build on.
