Also, not sure if this is new info to many, but Taggarts 0-4 start during his second year at WKU included a thumping from FCS Indiana State, 44-16. I think a comparable loss to our NCST debacle.

 

There is definitely reason to believe Taggart can turn us around. He's done it before.

The other teams in our conference are bad enough to where I don't think it's impossible. if we can get extremely lucky 1 or 2 games (i.e. Cincy last year), and come out with last second FG wins over UCONN, SMU, Tulsa, and Houston you never know. I wouldn't bet on it and I'm not confident, just saying our conference IS THAT BAD + one would have to think we get a little better over the course of the season, right? (For my sanity PLEASE)

Does anyone know the story of that turnaround at wku? Did he change qbs after the 0-4 start? Make Rainey a starter at rb? Just curious

You do realize this is the post in question, right? 

 

Why stop with the AAC? A 2 loss team has won the national championship in the past. Frankly, I'm a little disappointed our head coach doesn't set higher goals for the team.
