I'd take White improving 7% this year.

White has played one game. There's a lot of time left for him to improve upon his numbers.

 

I'm not particularly optimistic, but it wouldn't be the first time a player eeked out a bad game against an FCS team then did fine the rest of the season.

Since we make every other excuse for him.....     he's just learning to play with the extra 25lbs of muscle he gained.   Reality - last year was an adjustment learning period and I'll give him a bad game pass for his first game this year.  As long as he shows some steady improvement these next few games.

His RBs were the backbone of the team.

I was just looking to see how the QBs faired under his system. It looks like Kawaun Jakes struggled as well and gradually improved over time. There seems to be some commonality with struggles in Taggs system the first couple of years.

He has two RBs that went to the NFL. I imagine the O Line play was good too.

It's got to be helpful to Taggart to have Bobby Rainey getting significant playing time right here in Tampa. Yes, he's mainly a backup but he's shown he can take a full time work load if needed.

 

If we win some more games, would be cool if we could get Rainey on the phone with some of these kids...
