USF to play Syracuse 2015 and 2016

Per @McMurphyESPN, #USF & #Syracuse have scheduled a home/home series. They'll play in Tampa in 2015 & Syracuse in 2016.

We need football games. This is a football game.

Cuse fan here...excited to see this...especially since I'm moving to St. Pete area next year.    I expect we'll bring in 4-5k fans so that probably factored into your AD agreeing to do this.  It should be a competitive game.

Didn't Leavitt go on record saying we prepared for every team "except Syracuse." LMFAO.

This doesn't do much to get me excited to buy tickets... Recent memory of cuse fan isn't pleasant...

It's a game against a P5 team that should be winnable.  We're not going to get too many, "big name" P5 teams to come here.

Thanks Apis...I told CubanBull to see me around here more.  I plan to adopt USF as my 2nd team to follow.  I hope to make a couple home games each Fall.

Harlan wants wins. He is in a balancing act in between finding quality opponents and finding winnable games. I'll take cuse I suppose but I'm not happy that these were called "big name"... I disagree that they are bigger than us, and our record disagrees as well. 

 

Actually, Syracuse is a big name ... big enough name to have gotten them a P5 invite..... problem is we were told "very close to scheduling 3 different high powered teams people will be excited about" .... maybe there are 3 other ones.

If I'm Harlan, I hold onto this game and announce it after the other two. Unless this is the best of the bunch, then I'm drinking a dangerous amount.
