Huh? Whatchu trying to pull here? That link had nothing in it to back up your assertion that cable/dish availability is better than Internet only.

It's an opinion ... doesn't need a link. I think more people still actually watch college football through cable/dish access rather than through an Internet only hookup so that availability is better right now, IMO .... and unless there's some hard evidence to the contrary, it will stay my opinion until it's not.

An opinion? You're allowed to have those?

As long as you have a fake link apparently.

Two years ago almost 50% of all sports fans went online for content, 17% watched live games. Two years ago and "all sports fans" so that number has risen. Over 9 million watched the past winter Olympics on NBC's website, up 24% from the London Summer Olympics online numbers. Then there was this years World Cup, streamed mostly on ESPN3.

From the bottom article on the World Cup that came out prior to it, discussing how much of it's going to be online, not on tv, and how greatly online access has increased since the last World Cup.

"Since then, according to Seth Ader, ESPN's senior director of sports marketing via CNET, smartphone penetration has increased from 67 million to 160 million, and the number of tablet users have risen from 13 million to 119 million. The average U.S. broadband speed in 2010 was almost 4 Mbps, and now it's almost 10 Mpbs."

Interesting .... Nothing to do with this discussion about watching college football but still lots of fancy numbers.

Only if they concur with mine ....

Does remind me of something saw posted somewhere, maybe on here, that most posts on internet message boards have a silent "in my opinion" following them.

internet football sucks compared to TV. Period.

Both Suck compared to watching the game Live, (for me anyway). Feeling the energy of the crowd, the smell the minute u drive near the stadium and tailgate area. (Like a touch of heaven to me) The smell of the Fresh cut grass (stadium turf) when u walk into the stadium( my temple).  The Fans in the stands, friends , family, students, band and cheerleaders.  (being social).

Wonder if part of the decline in attendance overall  for most teams (unless they are competing or winning) is related to Social Media and our Younger generation of Anti Social People. (No  Facebook , Text messaging ect.. is not being Social to me).

Yes TV might give you a better View but you cant get the things I listed above thru the TV.

Cant wait for Next Sat.

Totally agree.

The only reason I would prefer a broadcast feed to an internet feed would be the quality of the announcers.

If it's the same announcers, I would just as soon watch it over the net as through my Dish system. Especially if it's raining or snowing outside. Dish reception sucks.

Football is a live sport. Millions watch sports over the internet, over 30 million in the U.S. watched the World Cup on ESPN3 this summer. Your point seemed to be people don't know how to watch ESPN3 on their TV or won't watch on other devices. That seems to be a non-issue.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
