If Taggart is looking for motivation how about "The 2-10 Team" on the back of the jerseys. Hate this idea. Leave it completely blank if you don't want names on the back.

My guess this was a publicity stunt the entire time...CWT said the names could go back on at any time and even the pic of Cleese with the #20 jersey; he looked like he was heat pressing it on.  I said this was gimmick and I think it was to rally the kids and fans, I just don't think they thought the whole process through with the NCAA and the fan base.  The best part is he made McMurph and other media break this story as BREAKING NEWS, when it was a stunt...

That's my positive spin...man 8/30 needs to hurry up

This is so stupid. Even if it were halfway through the season and we were 6-0, I'd still think it was dumb.

They need to post it here first, we'll let them know whether it passes the smell test well before they make an ass of themselves (and us really) nationally.

Doubt it does anything to encourage teamwork. That ND team USF beat didn't have names on their jerseys. We all know how that worked out for them.

The efforts need to be focused on game planning and strategy, not hucksterism.  Taggart seems to be grasping at straws.  Is he that unconfident about how he's prepared this team for this season that he needs to resort to this type of nonsense?  I just don't get it.

I think he still hasn't matured as a coach. He's only 37, right?

We will learn a lot this season. Good or bad.
