Apparently, "No social media during fall camp." [that was tweeted by Eric Dungy on 8/3]

 

I believe that was also the case when football players were away practicing in Vero Beach, last year.

 

I think it makes sense, in order to avoid distractions  and to maintain focus at this important time of the season.

Mama BUll's assessment was dead on. Coaches want these guys focused on football, not flittering about on the internet.  If these players truly are laser focused on a bowl game and can't wait to get the foul taste of losing out of their mouths, they should be happy to drop Twitter, Instagram, etc. during crunchtime.

Not only focused on football, but team building which goes beyond the playbook.

If they tweet while sitting on the toilet or going to bed I sincerely doubt that affects their focus.
