Just for the record I see more usf plates and general fan paraphanalia on cars than any other team around Tampa. This is Bulls country.

Because you're looking for them.

Before you buy a Camry, you never see one on the road, but once you buy one, they're everywhere!

I think that holds true for any car. Not because they weren't there before, but now you're more aware of them.

dat wuz my point! :D

I thought you wuz tryin' ta sell Camry!

No, but I'll have a 74 Super Beetle on the market soon...

I have a 73 VW Super Beetle. It's my Bull Bug, painted it USF green. It's my weekend driver, and I try to drive the Bull Bug to every tailgate and sporting event. Weekday events are more difficult, since I don't drive the Bull Bug to work (my insurance prohibits it, and it's for the cars' own safety). Hang onto your Super Beetle, if you're really thinking of selling it. You'll regret parting with her. :iconic_u_black:

Neither was I. I just love old, air-cooled VW's.

One of my first cars was a 59 Bug ... the one with the small rear window .... and no, it wasn't new.

No link, but apparently the windows were small back then because flat glass was cheaper than curved glass

So I get the Tampa Bay Times on weekends (Thurs - Sun), and the first thing I do when I get the paper is grab the sports section and look for any USF or college sports coverage.  There's not much there in the off-season, which is understandable.

For the last 2 days, there has been college football coverage.  That's right.  Both today and yesterday, the "SEC Notebook" section was there covering all things SEC football.

My conclusion:  According to the TBT, if anyone remotely connected with the mighty SEC so much as takes a poo, it's newsworthy.

I believe it is SEC media Days. Ours are not until later.
