I know it says "2 hours ago" under the title, but I think that article is pretty old. A September 19th visit? Or did he just lock down his September 19th, 2015 visit?

 

maybe he's planning ahead. 9/19 is a Saturday, and likely a football game.  Good time to visit.  Taggart will need to show promise to lock up the kids committing this early.  Hard to get too excited about someone who commits well over a year ahead of his NSD.

Says 4 hours now so I'm assuming it is current .... plus the fact that UK does host the Gators on 9/19 this year, http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa-15/sec/2015-florida-gators-football-schedule.php   and the last time UK did that was on 9/13/2013 pretty much confirms it.

Recruiting is silly.  This kid committed just after his sophomore year.  Taggart works hard to scoop him, but it's like fishing in the Keys.  Just because you get there early doesn't mean the cuda doesn't nail it before you can get it near the boat.

 

I don't think this kid did anything wrong...he's 17, and really had no clue what commitment meant when he thinks he committed.  What he meant was, "I kinda like USF, so maybe I'll come here".

You get recruited harder if you committ to a school IMO. I equate it to being an average looking guy and you go steady with a girl then all the other girls suddenly become interested in you.
