Oh well. Don't know if WA himself would have been a difference maker but it would have allowed the other players to have played their natural position most of the time ... and with the number of close games over the last couple of years, my guess is that the record would have been better than 24-39 (6-30). Still probably wouldn't have made the post season either year, especially with a non-100% AC, but it would have looked better to the untrained eyes who made the decision to can him ... and we would have been further along on the rebuilding process that's going on. Led the team in blocks (26) ... Ranked sixth on the team in total rebounds (72) http://www.goducks.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=500&ATCLID=205696102

Antigua is trying to bring in Canty from Marshall who averaged 16.3 points on 33 minutes per game last year. I wish all of these guys well but that level of production among 4 guys on an AAC team is just unacceptable. UConn's 7, 8, 9 and 11th players' level of production was 10.9 points per game. Those guys combined were also only playing 34 minutes per game combined. Big Difference.

Can't imagine how we wouldn't have been better with him here.
