haha

laughable

have you seen the bottom of the conference?

the ncaa tournament is just that

a tournament where if one team gets hot they win it

UConn got hot

the aac is not considered the best conference by anyone of note

You're so laughable. Always presenting yourself as the person who believes winning at all cost; that cash is all it is about. Yet you come and post this nonsense? Dude, a team in our conference won the national championship and USF made a few bucks in the process. You sir are a fraud.
Our success should not depend upon UCONN.

We need to win our games and get out of being at the bottom.

Or else UCONN is going to be bringing in revenue for the B1G/ACC

I agree 100% but does that mean we don't support a conference mate once we are done? This crap Smaza is espousing is ridiculous relative to the other posts that he has made. But yes you are correct, my concern is first and foremost USF but once our season is done I would hope the conference can do well...$$

I am glad that it wasn't an SEC team!

Likewise. Especially that it was an AAC team over (2) SEC teams.

Now Booger can shove it up his Tiger ass.

Hard to argue with that. That's what makes the NCAA tourny so great.

That is how every sports title is decided except for college football. Get in the playoffs and you have a chance.

A four team playoff will mostly consist of the P5.

The ACC will pick up UConn during the 2014 year, rounding them out to 16 teams through all sports except football.  ND is a member except for football but schedules five games against ACC teams.  Any additions to the existing conferences have to provide compelling reasons for their addition, which includes history, academics, and which is driven by regional connections and athletics.  UConn does that through national championships, academics, and their location.  The ACC will be the first 16 team super conference this year with the addition of UConn.

Which conference will be the next to expand and will USF have the time to provide compelling reasons to include them in expansion or will we be a bridesmaid and relegated to the AAC trash heap?

If the bottom of a conference determines the rank, I'm not sure any of the P5's would be at the top. AAC might be only 4 or 5 standouts right now, but the BE wasn't much different--the AAC is legit for MBB. USF, not yet but I like where we're going.

That will not happen either.  The ACC BB coaches will regret adding in Louisville when UL gives them regular beatings.  Coach K. will cry like he always does.  They do not want to add the double whammy of a beat down from UConn.

They would want teams that can regularly bring the ACC into NCAA prominence.

This season we were a good basketball conference. Will it continue?
