hire a top assistant from an established program. Collectively, we've made a mockery out of simply hiring a head MBB coach.  I think we can get a top assistant from a successful program (doesn't even have to be a P5) for around 750K and then we're actually saving money when CSH's payoff is included.  Tom Ostrom, Orlando Antigua, Dwayne Stephens, Mike Hopkins, Steve Wojciechowski, etc.  Let's just stop this nonsense and get on with it!  Anyone have any other recommendations?

So now we're looking for a GA to be our our MBB coach?  Come on dude.  Anyone of those would take the gig and if successful, quickly move on.

Maybe after losing last nite, Pitino is tired of UL and wants a new challenge??? Has anybody thought of that? Come on search firm, do I have to do everything around here?!?

There is no way any of the last 3 would take the job, they are either waiting their turna t current school or waiting for a much better job

I am not sure why the school is hellbent on a current headman. The money we're playing with will be tough to yank a quality current headman.

Hire an assistant, give them a shot
