That isn't as bad a loss No the problem is the lesser conferences having upsets. Normally you have the overall favorite in these lesser leagues already going to the NCAAT. However every now and then they get knocked off and now you are forced to take 2 teams from that league instead of the 1 that was probably going anyway. It is not good to be a bubble team because you have to have everything go right for you, meaning that the favorites in these lesser leagues need to win. USF was very fortunate 2 seasons ago that they did not get bounced out because most of the favorites won their conference tournament. USF was very, very close to not making it.
