Didn't see this posted yet, but Rivals has named Raymond Woodie as the best recruiter in the AAC.

Agreed, Woodie did a great job but the Rivals summary about this class being USF's best class ever is absolute ********.

The kids they hire to write these blog articles have no idea what USF has done in the past, especially 2 coaches ago. Guys like Mike Singer (Rivals) and Cory Bender (Scout) have only been doing their jobs for maybe a year. Guys working there who stick around those recruiting sites are usually from the big schools. I would expect Mike and Cory to be replaced within a year or so when they leave for something else.

Rivals articles are now being written by others already. It appears the "Swinga" has already flown the coop.

The next article we will read about Raymond Woodie is that Alabama hires him as an assistant coach.

I like to hear about the accomplishments and/or how well our staff does, but when these are put to print for all to read I get worried.

Afraid of this as well, but it's out of our hands.  Taggart seems to have a knack for recruiting so I'd give him the benefit of the doubt on anyone he'd bring in to replace him in that scenario.

If Woodie leaves, we need to bring in the Weiner from Plant

What makes you think he'd change his mind?

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”
