Before those of you who cant read or understand, spare me the UCif ***** crap.  Im merely pointing out what the little program to the East is looking like next year and bringing back.

They return 18 starters if Bortles returns,(many believe Bortles would be a first round draft pick this year if he left early, and a likely Heisman candidate next season)http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000297610/printable/blake-bortles-wont-make-nfl-decision-until-after-fiesta-bowl

The just hired  Paul Ferraro as Defensive coordinator. He brings Years of NFL exp, and College exp. http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/10209410/ucf-knights-hire-paul-ferraro-defensive-coordinator

We have our work cut out for us Gentleman. Lets hope Coach T has a vision, plan and gets some great recruits in here. Maybe beef up the staff as well.(might need to replace a coordinator )

Again, Not a UCiF Lover here, only stating facts and scouting the competition for next season.

Of course another way of looking at this:

1. Their QB goes in the draft and they have to replace him which brings up questions.

2. We have no idea that the new D coordinator will be successful at UCF

3. They won a few games in the last seconds and once in a lifetime plays. Will this continue?

Either way our viability as a program relies on us packaging ourselves with them and calling it a rivalry and a "two-fer", if you will, our life raft when a P5 comes calling.

One can hope.  If He doesn't go Pro, they could be dangerous, (they only have the one loss by 3 points to South Carolina this year). They will have another years exp  playing within their system. They wont have Ville on the schedule.( But add ECU possibly) (ECU won 10 games this year BTW for those who hasn't followed).( we could also have ECU on the schedule as well)   The D Cord gives them an advantage in recruiting, (can use it to tell recruits what it takes to play at the next level and has the connections).  That and coming off a conference championship and BCS bowl also help with recruiting.

Im hoping they have a sophomore slump in the conference and fall off.  But it looks like they will be the team to beat next season in the conference.

They will be better, no doubt.

But this team got better down the stretch. if White picks up this offense over the offseason, there's absolutely no reason we can't beat them. UCF gave up a ton of yards and points to any competent offense on their schedule.

Five or six of their wins were by one possession and they barely scraped by Memphis, Temple, and USF to name a few. UCF played South Carolina well, but most of their games have been nail biters. If their QB doesn't return they will probably lose 4 or so games. Probably lose 4 next year no matter what.

I am thinking along these lines.

Biggest difference, IMO, is that they know how to win. USF doesn't.

With Bortles likely gone, UCF will not be nearly as good.  We have no where to go but up.  Ergo, we should be able to overcome the 3 pts that divide the best team in UCF history against the worst team in USF history.
