this is a sports forum

she should be fired along with the ad

because i have butt hurt over the fact that my manhood is based on my team winning and my rutgers pals are laughing at me after every loss

she should have browbeaten the P5 into accepting a team with no national footprint and not even the most popular team in it's own town

academics do not matter to those who are unscrupulous, only a championship football team does.

usf has invested 10s of millions to position themselves to play with the big boys only to be left at home

sorry judy and doug were asleep at the wheel

:violin::whistle:

Forget what JTrue said. Doug Woolard is still employed as athletic director at USF. Judy should be fired immediately just for the oversight of the need to fire him.

It's not just her. There's an entire board for that...

Just so everyone knows, my post was sarcastic.  Judy's done a great job.  I knew my post would bring out hbryan.

With regard to FB, the President did well initially. She's a strong cheerleader, though too often it's about getting her name and face in the press. The decision to fire CJL goes to her (along with the AD), and the horrible current mess with our conference is hers as well. These are very bad marks and USF has been hurt badly the last few years. BTW, "research" as measured by $$ has improved, as has scholarship more generally, but academics generally are not up nearly as much.

What could she have done to keep us out of this "mess"?

None of us know exactly, but it is her job to look out for the university, to anticipate problems, to take steps in advance of them. A lot of realignment went on and we were left out. That does go to her.

"I know the answer," (raises hand) "nothing." We've already gone on ad nauseam about conference realignment...SEC, ACC, Pac, Big 10, never a chance. The Big 12 had much better options with storied programs and history to chose from than us.
