3 games without a TD on offense. I don't see how you can leave him on the sideline.

This. CWT waited as long as possible but it had to be done

Hope Taggart knows what he's doing... this reeks of a Holtz-type move.

It was either this or go back to Floyd. Bench is not 100%.  I know he threw an interception but there were also dropped passes.

But also at least two actually great grabs by receivers, for once. He was off the whole time he was in.

Holtz left a lot of older players out on the field even when they were terrible. If anything I see it as the opposite, taggart is showing if you aren't making plays you won't be on the field. Unfortunately we may not be able to field a team with this mindset right now

Stop makes excuses for bench.....I woulda rather seen Floyd finish the game and then let mike white take 1st team reps at practice to really evaluate if it is worth burning the redshirt. This is a bush league move by CWT

#USF radio guy, @arperlman, "can confirm Steven Bench is fully healthy." ... My conjecture: White's your QB here on out.

Why is everyone acting like saving his red shirt is super important? If he's the best we've got play him. Obviously Willie didn't want to go to him, but Eveld was terrible as usual, Bench was better but he's also injured. See if White can give us anything
