Lets hope he is not on scholarship. That was pathetic.   

He was trying to punt it away from their return men,( they had been running all up and down the field prior to that) Luckily the Zebra stripes called several back including a TD.  

 

This was a result of playing out of fear. CUT This kid from the team ASAP. We don't need players who are afraid or cant do the minimal requirements for their position.

Punter is one of the most important players on our team this year( esp with the lack of offense) So yes cut him.    We need someone who can punt the ball deep to give our defense a chance to make a stop and make other teams drive the length of the field. Not punt for 2 yards and give the ball up on our own 10 yard line.

 

Time to start playing the players that have fire in their gut, play with passion and will help us in the future, not bring us down further.

The guy made a mistake.  We've made lots of them this year.  Eveld, Floyd, and Bench have all thrown picks - should we cut them too?  Marcus Shaw fumbled inside his own 5 yard line.  Cut him?

 

You are completely overreacting here.  We're a bad team.  Time to settle down, take it for what it is, and hope our freshman can get some valuable experience for next year, when hopefully we'll be better.

We want a physical Tuff team, Not the mess Skippy left behind that is all Unicorns and fairy dust.

You were saying the kid should be cut over one mistake.  Bobby and Matt have made multiple mistakes that have cost us more than our punter did, and they weren't cut.  Completely irrational and ridiculous.  Other than that, I agree with the rest of the post I'm quoting.
