Canes fan, and we had our own problems, so i was not privy to what exactly Holtz did to the program, and/or failed to do.

Used to watch you guys during your August camp near my house in Vero, grew up with Kevin Patrick, and assumed you guys were cruising right along until I noticed  last years miserable season.

What happened?

Although I hate to judge before all the facts are in, it appears Holtz left this program in absolute, total and irredeemable shambles?  Is that true?

Here you go

http://www.voodoofive.com/2013/9/13/4725856/skip-holtz-usf-louisiana-tech-train-wreck-stealing-money

From the article:

"Skip Holtz, as USF's coach, took a promising football program and single-handedly ripped it apart with lame recruiting, poor team management, awful in-game decisions, and a complete lack of urgency and accountability."

That quote sums it up.  Time to move on...

This.  Sorry Miami fan, there is plenty of documentation all over the place on just what a bad job Holtz did here.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
