At worst, he will be a 2nd round pick. Teams draft players based on potential all the time. I think he's a 1 and done even if he has an average type of year.

That doesn't explain the case of how Selvie went from being a projected first rounder to seventh.

He had a poor senior season relative to the previous years. His stock went down based on his play on the field. If Lynch doesn't do anything on the field this season he will not be drafted in the first round, regardless of how much potential he is perceived to have.

I'd seriously be looking for a new D Line coach. That D line should be making headlines.

I can see traits in Lynch that show talent. And Todd Chandler is freakish with his size, agility and strength. Sager, Watson, Mims and Giddins have all shown something at times. And there have been very few impact plays by the DL thus far.

The talent is there. Lynch was a Freshman AA at Notre Dame. Our last 'good' DC said that Sagar could 'dent' offenses. The rest have tons of experience and athletic ability.  And its not just you or me saying it the media at media day said this was the best defensive line in the conference.
