"Our BCS representative this year will be a strong team. And I would remind people we remain a BCS conference this fall."

I know, I know - they're talking AQ status, but still, it leans to the point of once L'ville & Rutgers set sail, not much to hang ones hat on. And for the record, I think L'ville is the conference champ thus getting into the AQ position, but I don't really think they can contend for a NC this year, primarily because of their SOS where OOC games are Ohio, Eastern Kentucky, Kentucky and FIU. If the American is a watered down Big East or CUSA on steroids, L'ville should have a fairly reasonable shot at leaping out front.

Having them win anything is a worse look for our remaining conf. I would rather see UCF make it to a BCS game before Louisville. and yes, i have thick skin and can handle the trash talk from their fans if that happened. Hell...i WANT that rivalry to happen. MAC commish is welcoming the demise of the BCS although he said that before it they had zero chance of getting a team to the NC, the BCS gave them a slim chance of access and the new system better still. Its all where you are at, a have or a have not. American fans hate it, a loss of guaranteed access.

Then apologize for wasting our time. What nerve!
