He looks serviceable... looks like he is used to receivers with butter fingers so there won't be any surprises now that he is here. I was blessed with watching Daniels and Manziel scramble all last year, so my opinion of how mobile a QB should be might be a bit distorted, so I won't comment on that.

I had lunch with the President of the local PSU alumni chapter who is very involved in the football program as an alumni (didn't realize this until we started to discuss college football). Of course I picked his brain about Bench and he said that he has seen him practice and watched their Spring game and Bench played very well. He boasted about one of their coaches abilities to pick diamonds in the rough and concluded that Bench who wasn't a highly rated recruit is a very smart pro style qb who has wheels.

Not having seen Bench play myself, but having seen his competition play I do not think it is too far fetched a conclusion to say Bench will start. The fact that he could pick up PSU's complex playbook very quickly leads me to believe he will do the same with CWT's offensive playbook. We need a very good RB to compliment Bench and mix things up to be successful.

Bench fits the system pretty well, should be a good fit.  Bobby should get first look though in camp though.
