W'eve been graduating, what, 5,000 students/ year for 50+ years.

That's still only 250,000 graduates, give or take, most of whom are still alive.

To get critical mass, we HAVE to appeal to people who never went to USF.

There's 4 ways to do that. Good Marketing, Winning, Winning, and Winning.

We are so far behind every other major program, IDK how long it will take to catch up, or even if it's possible.

Oh, and did I say, Winning?

We have not been doing that of late.

Not to mention that some of the alumni support one of the big 3 in state schools...and they should be shot and hung.

Hey now ... you just described my dad (die-hard FSU fan since the late 60's but a USF alum - he did attend FSU for a year though).  I've been trying to flip him,  but most of me admires how he stuck with FSU through the late 60's and early 70's ... some rough years for that program.

I plan on sticking through these rough years with USF the same way.  It will pay off at some point.

And dunked in gasoline and feces, then lit on fire. :D

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
