I personally consider the OOC games to be pointless.  Who will lead this team coming to conference play?

I think it will be Bobby Eveld.

If Floyd can't take a snap, he can't play PERIOD.

I also don't think it would be prudent to waste White's red shirt year on a season that will in all likely hood end with 6+ losses with or without him.

The walk-ons have no shot.  Floyd's got the most talent, but Tags still looks at him as a liability.

I say let Floyd work on the snaps, let him start against McNeese, and if he's still dropping snaps, go to Eveld. Matt needs some solid playing time to gain some confidence, so let him try his hand in the opener and see what he does with it.

I'm aware that that is not a response to the question in the poll, but I think if Matt gains confidence, he'll be our guy when the conference schedule comes around.

Floyd. He can get the dropsies under control. Don't think it will be a continuing problem. Plus if he pans out you have 3 years of him.

Based on what I saw at the spring game...I think maybe Mike White. Can't believe it.

A freshman can't be any worse than our current two ding-dongs. Why not let White get in there now and see if he even has it in him this year?

We're going to suck big time...our only hope is that the defense can keep the games close and save us some dignity.

I think Trent Miller might deserve some more time...In the few reps in the spring game I thought he looked good/confident...

The spring game just told me that neither Eveld or Floyd had gotten any better since last fall....

Better an unknown, who like BJ stepped up, than  two nice guys that have continue to show that they are just not up to the level required to win D 1  games ...

Let Trent start and red shirt White  and make a decission later on...

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
