Our League is to be known as "The American"

Was told today the American Athletic Conference (Big East) will not be using AAC as an abbreviation. Will be referred to as "the American."

Right. I remember when USF said don't call us South Florida. It will be called whatever most want to call it.

We live in an acronym world. It WILL be called AAC and there is nothing the home office can do about it.
