Think the hope on a freshman Mike White is probably a little misplaced.

Unless Floyd can get the snaps under control, Mike White shows the most potential. The guy is a winner.

Taking a snap is a fundamental for QB play. If you can't take a snap you can't play the position. The thing that flummoxes me is that we have had 2 coaching staffs in a row that couldn't teach him the

Mike White has shown exactly nothing at the college level.  There's still no guarantee he'll ever even get to USF.  The hope in Mike White is a lot more than misplaced, it's wishful thinking at best.

 

I for one wish he comes in and plays like Payton Manning on day one, but even a college superstar like Teddy Bridgewater didn't play very well his freshman year.  I'm not saying he wont play and wont excel, but if he does either he's in a class of QB USF has never even seen, which is in itself unlikely.

On the bright side Willie T and Blackwell will have four months to find a solution.....Not worried...Would love to see it all come together before playing Michigan State.. and win....another USF upset..

I think the days of the USF upset are over, friend.  I'm just being a realist.  A) We just aren't that good anymore  

b ) People wont underestimate us anymore.  We are fairly well known.  I live in TN for now and everyone I met, even people from other states, all know who we are.  I hope I am wrong and we whoop up on MSU
