I have gone every year we have played there....Every year after the game I ask myself WHY???? I'm trying to convince myself yet again that this year will be different. But thinking I may watch it from the TV this go around instead of the cold and rain. Anybody think of a reason to reconsider and make the trip?

I will be there.  I live in CT and make the trip.  Been there through rain, wind, snow, voodoo five, phantom holding calls, dropped balls in the end zone, dumb personnel moves and dumb play calls.  it's always a pleasure watching a game at Rentschler field.

Don't forget ZERO offensive touchdowns in 3 games by UConn!!!  Yet we were 1-2 in those games!

I'm moving my daughter to Boston for college, then heading to Mass/Maine and will carve in this game, likely.

 

Any suggestions on where to stay locally, and the best place to get tickets?  Stubhub could be good, but if there are blocks for Bulls, that may be more fun.

 

Hoping Oct 12 will be a good time to visit East Hartford...and if we can hit our stride, winning is a good possibility.

I was there in 2011. We're skipping this year but prob will go back in 2015 (assuming they're not in the ACC by then). I've got a home theater room in my house with a 120" screen that I installed right before the Nevada game last year and haven't watched an away game on it since then. I'm actually looking forward to doing another watch party for UConn. We've had such terrible luck with UConn so a last minute victory would be very nice. That 2011 scoop and score after the fumble still haunts me. It was such a gift wrapped victory.
