Pretty sure there is a previous relationship clause anyway. Like with VH3 last year and a UM coach with Chickallo. Contact periods and rules differ for coaches who knew the kid before they were recruiting them.

I think the only ones affected by contact periods are parents/legal guardians, where they can basically recruit their own kid 24/7/365 if they want. VH3 fell under this but don't know the Chickillo situation ... unless you're talking about that nutbag Sileo, in which case that was a violation. Regardless though, I don't see how a ReTweet would be a violation. It's not contact with a recruit but I don't know ....

This will not sit well with Canes fans...but he could be a beast here, and Dyer's decision won't impact his (since he's likely 1 & Done).  It may also mean if Dyer doesn't come, you don't redshirt McCray or maybe Tice, as you can save those redshirts for a potential injury.
