This is just one of the articles mentioned in piece done in the current SI issue about how the NCAA is under attack from all angles including the EA Sports lawsuit. Basically the college institutions are making billions on unpaid student athletes.

so a free college education, room and board for 4+ years, free state of the art health care, and extensive on the job training and potential  job placement is not enough?

Not when you're essentially the farm leagues for the NFL and NBA

College players should not get paid. Jesus, college football has finally become the NFL with this playoff crap now we want to pay them? It saddens me.
