He's a kid getting a free vandy education. Although I love USF he made a good decision. He was going to be marginal at best in college and it works out best for all parties. We have an open scholarship and he gets a superb education and hopefully will become a doctor like he wants. He's just a kid

Grady would be great here just for the local ties to other kids alone. As far as him Posting Every Other Word In Caps, some mobile devices do this automatically; its very annoying...

Weiner joining the staff is awesome. Grady does have a point about MB though. Swap out one of the WKU scrubs you brought over without local ties, WT.

Grady would never have cracked the 2 deep here with the receiving talent we have on board. At the time we were recruiting him, much of that talent either wasn't on board or wasn't proven(Freakshow). Different story now. If there is one thing I give holtz credit for it's bringing in pass catchers. Not much else but we have as talented a receiving corps as ANYONE in FL. Need coaching, a skilled QB and a game plan, but given that they will be a load on a defense. Edited by Bullwinkle

I'm pretty impressed that Grady even knows who Marquel is ...

As far Weiner goes, I'm more concerned with his ability to coach up the wr's. We've got a pretty talented group, on paper, and I feel they let our qb's down on more than one occasion last year.

i thought holtz was trying to bring in Grady on D and Grady wanted a shot at QB and the staff said no

Bullwinkle- far from the best WR corp in the state... AD is solid, hopefully we can get Griffin back healthy. Solid WR corp, but not the best. Trip- I have a hunch Grady knew Blackwell through Team Tampa.

Ah, thanks ... but that actually makes it a little more curiouser why he's not adding him here with that type connection ... Is the wr coach the last offensive asst hire?

Recruiting coordinator spot is open. Not saying it'll happen, but would make sense. Yes to your question though TB- I believe so.

With all the dropped balls I witness the past few years, I'd say he brought in WR's....not pass catchers !

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
