What's douchey about it? Capitalism at its most basic level.

Amen!

Taking money away from a charity IS douchey ...

What, did he steal it? He paid the price they wanted...how is that taking money away??

Doh ... Not sure where I got that he acquired them before they went up for sale. My mistake ..... but, but, but it WOULD have been douchey if he had.

Keep the label and if anyone asks, tell them Stan gave them to you ...

Did Skippy's mom write his initials on the tag so he wouldn't lose them at school?

The team probably washed those shirts, and they would put the person's initials on the shirts so they know who they belonged to. Skip proabably wore these shirts at games and at practices. I do not think he brought them home for his wife to wash them. The team equipment personel would wash his "work" clothes along with the work clothes of other coaches.

It's time for you to move from assisted living to the memory loss unit.

To me there's a difference between re-selling stuff bought at a garage sale (where people just want to get rid of their old crap at any cost), and stuff bought at a thrift store. Lower income families really could have used some of this stuff, but this guy just wants to make a quick buck.

Let the downvotes begin...

Thinking of doing a "lets make a deal" game at this summer's BULLSRALLY with CSH autographed items (along with other stuff of course)... don't pitch it just yet.

The thrift store exists to make money by selling clothes to anyone willing to buy them. The buyer is helping the charity by buying the clothes (as is the donor of the clothes).... you are confusing the thrift store with clothes that are donated for poor people to have something to wear.

My God, what is debated on this board is so sad, it is almost comical.
