USF vs George Mason Game Thread

Worst referring I have seen to date. The old guy in the back was incompetent.

Probably talking about Tim Burk. He must be a local. He's been sucking since I last attended games in 2000. He got an NCAA Tourney game a few years ago and they sang his praises...but it's the same old racket. The union wins and any sense of accountability fades.

He blows, the other ref had to over rule him on a mistake call.

Was that the call when a ref called traveling on USF even though a Mason player was esentially on the ground tripping us up?

Yup. The old boy sucked with a capital uck. According to the box score on ESPN the officials were Jim Burr, Jamie Luckie, Clarence Armstrong. Edited December 30, 2012 by swamprat

Just had chance to watch game and two things at the end jumped out. Class move by Hewitt asking Stan about AC ... when they showed the graphic about our upcoming schedule, it really hit me hard about how bad I'm going ******* miss the Big East during January, February and March.

Same here... I grew up following BC, PC, and UConn.. It's really unfortunate..

Fitzpatrick is just a body, he's been useless as a player.

The last few home games he has been pretty horrible. He can't make anything around the basket. I guess that's why he stands out there and throws up 3s. Big problem when he isn't hitting those.

If they are ready to go they need to play we cannot afford two losses to UCF. We would need an additional upset over some else later. Lets get this win now if the players are available. Although I do feel this is an NIT team this year.

Agreed, but we will need another upset somewhere if we lose in order to be considered for the NCAA.
