The SEC wasn't built in a day. Maybe 50 years from now, this conference is ruling the world of college athletics. That's a NWO I'd like to see. I am wasting time to reply: delusional. Yup, this is the same guy who thought we needed to keep the prior coach.

Imagine if you're somewhat new to an industry, surrounded by more tenured competition, but in the market for a new job. While you are shopping yourselves, do you want a reputation of not being able to work well with others and downplay the current company you're with? Our rivalry with UCF is nothing compared with FSU-UF. Yet UF actually tried to help FSU get into the SEC. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/389570-the-seminoles-and-the-sec-a-sordid-love-affair

I'm not that old, yet. I can remember when FSU was mocked as a "girl's school" trying to play football. I can remember when no one ever got fired for buying IBM, because they were by far the standard computer manufacturing company in the world. Things change more slowly than you would like, but rather quickly when you look back over time. USF will rise or fall on it's own merits, and the conference situation will work itself out.

Right now neither school has a better choice. USF vs UCF will draw a great amount of income for both sides if they stay in the same conference

Strength in numbers, and as previously said, we are two very large colleges in great markets; it cannot hurt for us to work together....

Moves in realignment appear to happen in pairs so hold your nose and grab your partner with your other hand. Seriously the USF UCF pair is quite a team. What are we selling? TV market size Enrollment #s Recruiting territory it's just hard to accept the mind fvck that is their success is tied to ours in every game that doesn't involve us.
