Recruiting has been suspect for several years now. We have one if not the lowest budget in the big east. In theory that low budget could have worked but we never locked up our surrounding area with quality. We can only claim stars don't matter if we actually win something. I have started to wonder why so many of us including myself have thought we had superior talent for the big east. It appears to me that we are grossly undersized, and we have not been making this up with speed, athleticism, and smarts.

Hopefully Willie T can work his magic in the living rooms around this area.

I agree with this... Pitt, Rutgers and UCONN have traditionally manhandled us every year

usf has always underachieved in recruiting

usf has never locked down their geographic area in any sense

neither head football coach emphasized recruiting or selling the program to the local communities(to the kids)
