Boise State is not even classified as a National University by US News Rankings, which must mean they are pretty low on certain benchmarks. Stranger things have happened but I just do not see them as a full member of the PAC, there is still a lot of academic snobbery and this is not even an AAU non AAU debate.

Not anymore. Peterson's gone, Boise will go back to being an also-ran soon. Same for ECU. Don't know why folks still get all hopped up about them, since it was their coach that got them where they are, not their 100 years of tradition, stong alumni $$, etc.
