jvwvu Posted December 7, 2012 Group: Member Topic Count: 7 Content Count: 820 Reputation: 5 Days Won: 0 Joined: 07/14/2011 Share Posted December 7, 2012 Being 3 years out of TX HS and being paid $1.3 mil already might raise a little concern, though Briles was a RB coach with 3 years from HS ball before taking over at Houston big difference is it was still in Texas. How much Fla ties is he going to have. I would target Kliff Kingsbury instead of Morris.

Regardless, this is the most excited I've been for usf football in awhile. It's gonna be a fun ride. ESPN.com and the Austin-American Statesman reported Morris would interview for the position this weekend. Morris told the Post and Courier he’ll be in his West Zone office on Friday preparing for LSU and he’ll be at Clemson’s first bowl practice Saturday. He’s traveling to watch former Tiger Dwayne Allen play with the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Said Morris of the rumors and reports: “Wow, crazy.†Morris has also been linked to the N.C. State and Auburn coaching vacancies this offseason. Morris led Clemson to a ranking of eighth overall in total offense this fall, averaging 518 yards per game. Morris is the nation’s highest-paid assistant, earning $1.3 million per year at Clemson. Edited December 7, 2012 by USoFlo
