That's a difference of nearly 15,000 tickets, suggesting that nearly 40 percent of the tickets distributed weren't used at the game. But that will just speak to if we didn't have them already sold to FSU fans, we likely would have had tickets distributed in the 28K-30K range....which isn't good. If I had to wager I would say that about 8,000 is FSU fans... maybe 9K. I'm not making excuses, but just pointing out the fact that FSU fans purchased season tickets by the fist full this off-season and now we are dealing with those no-shows in addition to those that are fed-up with Holtz and his crappy coaching. On StubHub you can buy a ticket to this weekends game for $3.00 http://www.stubhub.com/south-florida-bulls-football-tickets/south-florida-vs-connecticut-11-3-2012-4060016/

I am not sure but this may be considered a good day for USF Athletics. But keep in mind the following:USF's student section size is 12,501USF has to pay some amount to the TSA Revenue is one thing profit is another. Not sure how profitable the homecoming game was and how profitable the games ahead will be. Maybe the plan was to make all the money on the FSU game. Who knows.. We are not UFlorida with the good ole boys base. It is vital that we put a great product on the field to keep the "marginal" fan base interested. It seems to me that the Bucs are in the process of turning their season around (see black out lifted aganist Saints). That will put added pressure on USF to be sucessful on the field or those dollars could go to the Bucs. JMHO

Wasted money. Lower bowl seats 41k, which is all we need right now.
