I was wondering about the lack of production and started to thinkthat the DT's have outperformed the DE's so far so i did some digging from USF's official site.

NOW TO WHAT I FOUND (listed most to least)

Total Tackles:

DB's: 234

LB's: 228

DT's: 87

DE's: 65

Total Tackles For Loss:

DT's: 15

LB's: 12

DE's: 6.5

DB's: 6.5

SACKS:

DT's: 4.5

LB's: 4.5

DE's: 4

pretty terrible production.....Coaching?? Scheme?? Players?? not sure. Here are the numbers from the USF Athletics Site

2011: 99 TFL's 39 Sacks 12 INT's 26 TO's forced

2007 was such a good team. Unfortunately, we got matched up with Oregon when they were on the brink of becoming a truly elite team.

Had we played a team more reflective of their place in the Pac 10 we'd probably have won and finished ranked. Blah. What could've been.

2007 was such a good team. Unfortunately, we got matched up with Oregon when they were on the brink of becoming a truly elite team.

Had we played a team more reflective of their place in the Pac 10 we'd probably have won and finished ranked. Blah. What could've been.

Or if the refs hadn't screwed us in the rutgers and Cincinnati game. Just one of them and we'd have been 10-2 and guaranteed a ranking going into the bowl.

2007 was legendary. I'll never forget being in the nose bleed when we beat WVU at the Ray J. Even up high the place was rocking!

2007: 1st half of that season was the best football times of my life. 2nd half: Most heartbreaking and rage-filled hate at referees times of my life.

I still believe if illegal forward propulsion was not called we would have won out and won the Big East. That changed the whole trajectory of USF football.
