Hear me out. I know he isn't doing as well at auburn this year, but he did win an NC, and put a lot of guys in the NFL. SEC is tough to win from year to year, just ask UF fans. He is from Florida and will probably be fired this year. If we were to get rid of Holtz, we wouldn't have the money to hire another expensive coach. If Chizik were hired, we could pay him a lower salary with escalation based on performance.

I would like to get him... but I think the problem with our team is deeper then just the HC or AD...

No thanks. His entire career has been garbage outside of one all-time great year from Newton. His record at Iowa State was pitiful too.

Not unless you can get him the next Cash Cam.

I'd say no because he has struggled.

That being said, this guy will land somewhere and be a solid coach.

I know the SEC is tough, but he's losing despite being given every resource imaginable. How would he do at a program with much more limited resources? Probably a lot like Iowa State was looking.

As a DC, yes. Not as the HC. I would rather have Gus myself (who was really this brain behind Auburn when Cam was there). Just my two cents. Even Larry Coker has won a National Title...

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
