We will have Aaron Lynch next year to help out on the pass rush.

Maybe he can play tailback also.

Giddens should be back as well. Although I'm not sure anyone is as excited at that prospect as we would have been over the summer.

I'd love to see some aggressive play calling out of whoever winds up being defensive coordinator next season. Are some stunts, twists, and blitzes on 3rd down too much to ask for? Maybe our defensive line will be motivated by seeing a kid like Lynch demolish offensive linemen and opposing QB's.

Or Lynch will get double teamed limiting his success and the rest of the line wont make the most or their 1 on 1 battles.

Lynch may not have the same opportunity for the success he had a ND.

I mean it's not like the Notre Dame defense even blinked with the loss of him.

Maybe Giddens playing bad this year will get him to come back next year and play phenomenal. He is very talented, just can't seem to make an impact.

The line has been poor, but they've also been playing mainly contain pass rush. Trying to maintain the QB in the pocket and not give him running lanes. this is also why terrible quarterbacks have been able to shred us passing the season.

It's like defending against Vick. He is more of a threat when moving then passing from the pocket because he's highly inaccurate. We haven't faced Vick. It's a bad Gameplan.

Giddens isn't going anywhere

I would have thought the same about Darrell Scott and Carlton Mitchell based on their play, but they left.

do we really have any players that are draft worthy?
