Good read. Does 4-8 save his job?

Probably. As the article pretty much states Woolard doesn't want to find him.

I know that's a typo, but I found it pretty funny.

Glad to see the media getting after this bum. You know he's got to be feeling the heat now. We may not be UF, Bama, LSU, ect. but we do not accept failure.

I disagree with Fennelly that the program has always had unrealistic expectations. Winning records and win the conference are not unreasonable in the Big East.

Also, I doubt Fennelly remembers his September 2005, article where he said we should emulate Louisville (right before we thrashed them). If he still feels that way then the deed has to be done at the end of the year like they did with Kragthorpe.

Put me on he list of I hope Skip wins out, but I doubt it can happen.

It's hard to say we were as good as everyone here thought we were after that WVU win.

We need a few years of back to back solid recruiting classes to get the kind of depth you need to last 12 games as an elite team. We have NEVER had a top 25 recruiting class....not one.

Yes we were not as good as we thought we were after wvu in 2007. However, winning the Big East doesn't require elite teams, but just pretty good ones. Beating ball state and temple does it require top 25 recruiting classes.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
