I was busy all day Saturday and followed on Yahoo....now having seen it all on what my failing DVR will provide..I'd lay off BJ, I'd cheer Lamar. I'd wonder what the heck is going on with our defense.

Nothing to get on BJ about this time. He played his best game of the season.

Lamar was excellent

Defense was a disgrace

So what does it prove about BJ & Lamar- that they are a good Mid-Majorl (MAC) players????

Missed the game live so only watched the last few minutes from my DVR.

That Ball State receiver made a ridiculous catch in the corner of the end zone on 3rd and 10. Otherwise they are most likely attempting a field goal to tie.

Just another one of those Skippy "One Play Away" games.

BJ played his best game of the season against Ball State... with that said our offense only managed to score 27 points against a MAC team which is pathetic.

The defense was defiantly much worse then BJD this game...

Not as many drives that were killed because of lack of leadership and having no game plan.

Run BJD right... Run BJD left... BJD over throws the intended receiver... punt... defense back on the field.

Run Murray middle... run Murray left... BJD overthrows the intended receiver... punt... defense back on the field.

BJD played a good game for once, but thanks to bad play calling and no leadership on the field that performance was wasted. If we are going to beat FSU, or at-least keep from getting embarrassed this Saturday then our O needs to put together some long drives so our weak ass D can take a break.

It doesn't matter how many drives were killed because of penalties. I doesn't matter how they moved the ball. If the defense does it's job, BJ and company get maybe 4 or 5 more possessions and at least 17 more points. Then we're talking about a 44- single digit win, instead of a 31-27 loss.

Alabama's offense would do no better than ours against Ball State, if their defense allowed the Cardinals to run the clock and score like ours did.

This loss is ALL on the defense.

This loss is ALL on the defense.

we had 8 possessions.

1 punt.

3 TDs and 2 FGs.

1 to end each half. (total 1:50)

they had 7 possessions.

they scored 4 TDs and 1 FG. 2 punts.

only the insane blame this loss on offense.
