If we do not win more than 5 games, fire Holtz.

Make one of the above Interim HC and keep the payroll low for the 2013 season.

If great success, we'll cross that bridge with increased season tix sales.

Go Bulls !!!

butch davis would be great. he already has a position with the bucs so he could just stay in town and coach the bulls

I would prefer that USF not go on probation. Cheating follows this guy around for a reason.

There are so many good coaches out there that we MAY have a shot at... another name that comes to mind is Jack Del Rio.

Petrino will eventually have schools like Tennessee and Nebraska chasing him. It is not realistic.

Cristobal would be a home run, he'll be at a major program soon.

i like mcgee. If he was the coordinator at pittsburgh. I really like that offense. I think it would be an upgrade to what we do now.

We need to committ to one or the other. Offensive minded coach who is hands on play caller or defensive minded coach who is tough and will get these boys tough. It doesnt work to dabble in both or let your coordinators do it. We need a leader.

Ruffin McNeill, or some random coach from a C-USA/Sunbelt team that has had like ONE year of success (i.e. Todd Berry at UL-Monroe if he has a decent season this year). Why? Because this is USF, they don't make splashy hires, and they don't make good hires. At least not in the sports that count. Accept it.

I really have no pipe dream coordinators to offer up. I think the next coach needs to be defensive minded though. I think it's much easier to bring in a guy focused on defense, and offensive coordinators are much easier to come by.

I think you guys are being a bit harsh. Muncie is a hostile environment. You can't expect a coach making only $2 million a year to waltz into Ball State and crush what is arguably one of top 100 teams in the FBS.
