Has anyone on here mentioned him as a possible replacement?

The dude is going to be a Head Coach somewhere in FBS next year, USF could be a good fit.

He already recruits the crap out of Florida/Alabama/Georgia & he took a god awful FSU defense from the bottom of the FBS to the top (and kept it there for 2 years so far). Granted, he's got a plethora of talent, however a lot of that talent came in under his reign as DC.

His stock went up tonight after halftime in the FSU-Clemson game.

holtz has to be fired first

In due time.

Hopefully it's only a matter of time before a certain house in South Tampa gets listed by an agent for sale.

Stoops would not come here. It would be a backward step in his career.

I would love that hire. He has a great defensive mind set and coaching is in his blood. His results are reflected in a very good FSU team. He would be a great fit if it weren't for all of the known obstacles.

You would think we would learn from livin' off a name. McGee or Petrino folks. McGee would come reasonable. Petrino probably would as well considering the pickle his pickle got him into. Guy just wants to coach.

Good pickup...need somebody with florida ties.

how about a former USF coach with his masters from our school? a guy that has helped run 3 top ten offenses in his last 4 jobs. we should have hired Calvin Magee last time.

Problem lies with Wollard! How many bad hires and extension decisions has this guy made? McCollum, Holtz, Prado, extensions for all three of those guys without proven results. Cant speak of the lesser sports, but I am sure very similar.
