We did not lose to Miami last year because of defense... we also did not lose most of our games last season because of defense... we lost most of those games by 1 point, or a few points... we lost tho

hope fsu takes usf lightly our offense needed to score a td on first drive defense was in a hole from the start that said pretty much every facet of our program is bad

How can it be the fault of the defense. I didn't know that we had a defense.

Where's all the Chris Cosh fans now? Where's the guys that gave me heartburn when I called out Cosh who was fired from Maryland for a poor performing defense and who KSU fans wanted replaced because their defense had gotten soft?

Prepare yourselves....It's gonna be a lonnnnnggg season. This is all the defense's fault.

Its not all defense... having an inconsistent QB, no depth at RB, and one good wr is also a major issue.

Umm yes it is. Inconsitent QB yes but he puts up points. Depth at RB...ummm no. One good wr...are you ******* serious? This defense to be one of the worst if not the worst in d1 football.

We did not lose to Miami last year because of defense... we also did not lose most of our games last season because of defense... we lost most of those games by 1 point, or a few points... we lost those games thanks to bad offense, not defense.

We also lost to Rutgers last week due to bad offense... our defense kept Rutgers within range.

that one good wr had 21 yds today....he is good but we have several good wrs

If either the defense OR the offense was just a little bit better, this team would be 4-0. We're 2-2 but could just as easily be 1-3.

All we have seen since the beginning of last season from Holtz is that both sides of the ball are performing just below where they need to be to win games, and far below their potential.

My observations lead me to believe that Holtz hasn't set a high standard or expectations and hasn't been demanding it from the players. Leavitt you at least knew by his expressions when the team did not meet his expectations. The problems with Holtz is that it appears every outcome is okay with him.
