I think FSU will hang 100 on our crappy defense

Its not all defense... having an inconsistent QB, no depth at RB, and one good wr is also a major issue.

Umm yes it is. Inconsitent QB yes but he puts up points. Depth at RB...ummm no. One good wr...are you ******* serious? This defense to be one of the worst if not the worst in d1 football.

We did not lose to Miami last year because of defense... we also did not lose most of our games last season because of defense... we lost most of those games by 1 point, or a few points... we lost those games thanks to bad offense, not defense.

We also lost to Rutgers last week due to bad offense... our defense kept Rutgers within range.

Let's stay on track here with THIS season. You must have forgotten...Rutgers had like 90 yards in offensive penalties. Even with our inconsistent Offense, they're putting up points. Defense is clearly poor and consistently poor. The blame goes all to them. ESPECIALLY that worthless **** Lanaris.

First point-you cannot lose a game if the other team does not score, no matter how bad your offense is. Second point- we look like we are going to be a whipping boy for FSU next week if our defense continues to play as they are. Sell your tickets and make some of your money back. At home you can turn it off and go on with your day without that sickening feeling.

Well the good news is the rest of the Big East looks like total crap too, so maybe we can win more than 1 Small East conf game this year. Skip would say we improved 100% if we only beat Temple and SamexCuse.

We're basically playing 9-on-11 with the soft zone on almost every single play. It's like we're just conceding 3-4 yards on every play, and more if they can beat our sketchy secondary (which even Ball State did, for chissakes). But then again they stood our pass rush up too--a MAC line! If we would just bring some real pressure this D could be at least decent. Right now, they're not even being allowed to have that chance...the soft playcalling is making them look like a Division III squad.
