I got it... we are in the Randy Shannon years...

He took Miami from a powerhouse and turned them into the joke that they are today... now we were never a powerhouse, but we at least had a decent bowl game run and could muster a 7-8 win season each year, and go .500 in the Big East.

Miami wasn't a powerhouse when he took over. Coker started turning them into what they are today.

Miami had 9+ win seasons in every year under Coker except his last (7-6). I guess you could say their program started to slip then, but Coker also handed Shannon a lot of talent (Recruit rankings 2005 #7, 2006 #14).

Zook is a poor mans Dabo. He can recruit like a mother, but can't coach for ****.

As soon as Holtz brings in a top 15 class he can be our Zook. Until then he's our Kragthorpe.

Zook was winning 8 games a year in Gainesville. 8 games would be great this season
