You may have a valid point in the sense that the recruits are considered better yet the performance is worse.

When we lost Leavitt we apparently downgraded to the O'Leary years...

O'Leary's team would manhandle us this year so we are definitely at a lower level coaching wise than O'Leary. I don't agree that Skip has done anything great with recruiting. I believe Leavitt would have had us consistently in the top 30 in recruiting. Without a 180 degree turnaround, we are definitely in our Kragthorpe years.
